Pressure you can steer
Nothing is one-size-fits-all. You tell us the second it tips past useful and the therapist eases off without breaking rhythm.
This is firm, methodical work on the muscle groups most people neglect until they hurt.
Every session starts with a quick movement screen so we know which tissue is doing too much and which is doing too little. From there the therapist works layer by layer, superficial fascia first and then the deeper fibres, using forearms, knuckles and elbows rather than just thumbs. Pressure is adjusted in the moment, so you stay in that useful band between uncomfortable and unbearable. Most people leave able to turn their head properly or hinge at the hip again.

A sore knee often starts in the glute. We trace the line of tension back to its source instead of rubbing where it already hurts.
Two or three stretches, drawn on paper, matched to the area we worked. No app subscription and no course to buy afterwards.
Our senior therapists have worked in AFL club physio rooms, with marathon training squads, and with a lot of desk-bound office workers who all have the same stiff upper back. That mix taught us how quickly a treatment turns from helpful into pointless, and how to stop before it does.
Prices include a short movement screen and a written stretch plan. Private health rebates can be claimed on the spot.
One problem area, worked properly. Best if you know exactly where it hurts and want it sorted fast.
The one most people book. Covers upper and lower body, with extra time on whatever is causing trouble.
Four sessions across six weeks for anyone mid-training block or working through a stubborn niggle.
Same six steps every time, so you always know what is coming next.
Five minutes of questions about training load, old injuries and what you want out of today.
A few bends, rotations and shoulder rolls so we can see which side is doing more work.
Warm-up strokes first, then deeper work once the tissue is ready for it.
You rate the pressure out loud. We move up or back down as you go.
Gentle flushing strokes and a hot towel over the area we worked hardest.
Two or three stretches written down, with the days and reps to do them.
Four rooms along Collins Street, all set up for quiet and low light.
If yours is not here, ring the studio and we will answer it properly.
Book a deep tissue session and we will work out what is actually pulling, not just where it aches.
Tell us roughly what is going on and we will match you with the right therapist for the area you need worked on.
