What information we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and, when needed, a mailing address.
- Health information you choose to share, such as injuries, medication, allergies or pregnancy, because it affects how we treat you safely.
- Booking details including the service, therapist, date and time.
- Payment records, though card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
- Basic website data such as the pages you view and the device you use.
How we use your information
We use your details to confirm and run your appointment, to keep a treatment record so your therapist knows what has worked before, to process payments and rebates, and to send appointment reminders.
We also use your email address for occasional studio updates if you have opted in. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it on for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Our booking and payment software providers, who process data on our behalf.
- Health funds, only when you ask us to process a HICAPS rebate.
- Professional advisers or regulators, where we are legally required to do so.
Anyone handling your information for us is bound by a written agreement to keep it secure and use it only for the purpose we set.
How long we keep it
Treatment records are kept for seven years from your last visit, which is standard practice for health-related services in Australia. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Website analytics are kept for fourteen months, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. We will respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union, the GDPR gives you additional rights, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability.
